You can choose a vehicle for either eight people or sixteen people. After selecting the vehicle, click on "Book Here." Once you’ve selected the vehicle, proceed to choose your hotel. After entering your hotel, you will be shown available time slots. Select the timing that suits you. Then, enter your details under "Client Information." If you have any special requests, please select them here.
Once everything is filled out, proceed to payment. If you choose a private tour, the cost is 555 USD for 8 person. For a group of 16 people, the price is 910 USD per person. If you choose more than 16, the system will not show an option.

For the Premium Chichen Itza tour, the maximum capacity is five people per vehicle, including infants and children. The cost for this tour is ₹1,365, and it also lasts for 10 hours, making the difference minimal. Based on this, I would recommend two options for you.
If you prefer booking tickets online, I suggest going for the Chichen Itza Diamante tour, which costs $155 per adult. This package includes everything in one comprehensive deal, making it cost-effective. Compared to the Chichen Itza Classic and Tour Plus options, the price difference is between $100 and $155, but the combination package offers better value, saving both money and time.

If you only need tickets and do not wish to join a full tour, then the Chichen Itza Tickets option is available. The entry fee for adults is specified under this ticket option.
The ticket price for adults is 648 Mexican Pesos, and for children aged 3 to 12 years, it's 100 Mexican Pesos. For Mexican citizens, the ticket costs 290 Pesos, while locals can purchase tickets for 100 Pesos. You can select the date for your visit and proceed with the booking.
For child tickets, the price is $75, and you can choose the number of adult tickets as needed. If you're selecting tickets for infants or children, the cost starts from $17 for age 3-11. Once you select your tickets, click "Save and Continue" to check availability.
Chichen Itza Site works with a partner tiquets.com, where you can buy the tickets. Note that the ticket includes only entry to Chichen Itza, and no tours are provided.
For an audio guide, which is available for ages 14 to 99, the cost is $7.62. If you don't want the audio guide, simply choose "No Thanks" and proceed to the next step.
After completing the next step, you need to confirm your booking by entering your full first name. Then, provide your email address and phone number. Once entered, proceed to confirm your booking.
For a confirmed booking, you must use a debit card through PayPal’s official website, as it is their authorized partner. Any other payment method outside this may not be valid.
The ticket price is $75 per person, which does not include a guide or an audio guide. If you need a guide, you can hire one on-site. Official guides are available at the side entrance. The guide fees range from approximately $1000MXN, and you may be able to negotiate a lower price.
Be cautious of individuals approaching you outside the entrance, claiming to be guides. Many of them are not officially authorized. For a legitimate experience, hire a guide directly from the entrance.
If you wish to attend the Chichen Itza night show, known as "Kukulkán Nights," you can purchase tickets on-site. Ticket sales begin after 3 PM at the Chichen Itza entrance, and the show starts at 7 PM. The light and sound show at night enhances the experience, making it a great option.
The opening hours of Chichen Itza are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the last entry allowed at 4 PM.
Now you have all the necessary details on booking tickets online or purchasing them on-site. You can also explore available tour packages based on your preferences.
Check the ticket prices on the official site before purchasing. If you buy the ticket on-site, the entrance fee is 648 Mexican pesos, which is approximately $31.36. This is much cheaper than purchasing online, where the cost is $75 USD.
I highly recommend buying the ticket in person to save money. However, if you plan to take a guided tour packages, you will need to book it online in advance.
For transportation, you have several options. You can drive yourself, take a bus, or use a shared vehicle.
When purchasing your ticket on-site, go directly to the counter. Make sure to bring a valid ID—locals need a local ID, while foreign tourists should carry their passports.
If you look at the cost, the ticket is only approx. $31, making it quite affordable. The main advantage of purchasing your ticket in advance is the convenience. However, in reality, the queue at the entrance isn’t very long—it moves quickly. While you may have to wait for a short time, the line is not extensive.
If you decide to buy your ticket on-site, you will still benefit from a smooth entry process. The peak season for visiting is year-round, as tourists visit the lake in both summer and winter. Regardless of the season, the weather remains hot, and visitors from all over the world continue to come.
Now, the decision is yours—whether to buy tickets online or on-site. If you choose to book online, you can either opt for a guided tour or purchase individual tickets. The official ticketing partner for Chichen Itza is Tiqets.com. If you buy directly on-site, the cost remains $31. While there might be a small queue, it moves quickly, so there’s no need to worry.
If you have any other questions, feel free to leave a comment, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
