Upon getting to the website, click on the “Visiting Hours and Ticketing” tab. In the following section, you will get to know the prevailing ticket prices of SA entries for the foreign tourist, SAARC & BIMSTEC tourist, and Indian domestic tourists.
For the foreign tourists, the ticket charges Rs 1100 and for the Mausoleum it charges Rs 200 additional. For the SAARC and BIMSTEC visitors the entry fee is Rs540/- plus 200/- for Mausoleum. Indian ‘Vacationers’, who are locals, have to pay Rs 50 + Rs 200 for the Mausoleum.

And, for the convenience of the visitors, the Taj Mahal is opened for night viewing for five days in a month, on the full moon night and two nights pre and post the full moon night. The tickets for night viewing can be availed at INR 510 for Indian and for foreigners it is INR 750. The duration of each session is 30 minutes, the sessions are conducted in the form of two sessions per day where each session is allowed to have up to 50 people only.
Dress Comfortably
Thus, it is more appropriate to dress in light colored and loose clothing during the summer hours. The do’s include wearing comfortable shoes because there will a lot of walking around. To prevent people from soiling the marble floors, slippers are supplied for free within the interior part of the monument.
Photography Restrictions
Photography is only allowed outside and not within the Mausoleum premises hence, it would not be possible to take pictures inside the Mausoleum. Though the exterior is offers plenty of stunning photo opportunities, so make sure to bring your camera.
Security Checks
Security checks upon entry into the gates should be expected to be very stringent. There is special lines for domestic tourist and foreign tourist if another tourist is a domestic or a foreigner it takes less time. Make sure you have a travel identification, especially if you are a foreign visitor.
